Mark November 08, 2012 for Model Number CSX22GRXAAA My fresh food door is lower than my freezer side door. Is there a bushing or something that will raise the door up even?????
1 Answer Hello Mark, Based on the information provided, you may want to check to see if the either of the cams are broken. The upper cam WR2X4901 and the lower cam WR13X10020. If the cams are ok then it may be a leveling issue or the adjusting the door using the upper hinge. To adjust using upper hinge, you would need to loosen the screws, shift door and then tighten screws back down. Read More...

Wonder Daughter August 15, 2012 for Model Number CSX22DMC Does the cam riser on the bottom of the refrigerator door keep it level? On left to right opening door, left side has dropped lower than right. Knowing nothing & with a flashlight, I saw a black plastic piece broken. The part that broke off is an arc. I think I need a cam riser.
1 Answer Hello, You are correct, but be aware that there are two opposing risers. You may need both, just the top, or just the bottom. The safe way to correct this issue, (to avoid tearing it down twice), is to order WR13X10020. This is the lower door hinge with the riser riveted to it and the opposing riser. Read More...
Bobby March 27, 2012 for Model Number TFX 22 RLB For GE Cam Riser (Part Number: AP2058495), could you please send me instructions to install the Cam Riser?
1 Answer Hello Bobby, Remove the screws from the top door hinge after you have emptied the door of any items. Remove the hinge and open and lift the door. The door will lift off of the lower door hinge. Lay the door carefully in the floor on towels or carpet. Remove the one screw holding the old cam riser in place. Retain this screw as it is used to attach the new cam riser. Re-install in the reverse order. The cam riser has been changed by the manufacturer and is now made onto the hinge assembly WR13X10020. This is actually a kit that includes the lower hinge with cam riser and the cam riser for the bottom of the door. If it is the freezer door you are working on, before you remove the top door hinge, unplug the wiring harness and water line to the door. These will be located behind the kickpanel at the bottom of the freezer door. The rest of the steps now apply to the freezer door. During reassembly, you will need to feed the water line through the lower door hinge to begin reassembly. At this point, reverse the disassembly instructions. Read More...
