Robert May 25, 2014 for Model Number MSX24D I want to order a replacement hinge and cam riser. I would prefer to replace both hinge and cam riser. When I search for the part it shows me a part that looks right but when I put my model number in to check compatabliity it says this part is not comparable with the msx24d. What part number do I need? Thanks, Robert
1 Answer Robert, if you would like to replace the hinge and cam riser you can purchase the hinge kit part number WR13X10020. This contains the hinge, lower and upper cam riser. Thanks! Read More...
Mike W May 13, 2014 for Model Number ge TFX24T GE.TFX24 T fresh food side door cam. What part number do I need? The door cam broke and now the fresh food side is a 1/2 inch lower than the freezer side.
Nikki April 22, 2014 for Model Number TFX20KLL I ordered 2 refrigerator parts from y’all last week and received them right away. The gasket- (part # WR24X463) was the wrong size and it is supposed to be arriving shortly. (Order # 4279343) The problem I’m having is with the cam door riser-(part # WR2X4901). It looks like on your parts "list" page there are plastic and or metal ones? There is nowhere to specify in the ordering process-which one is preferred. I (unfortunately) received a plastic one and it is already disintegrating. Tiny black pieces all on the floor under the door. I also (mistakingly) thought I’d be getting 2 in the package. I’d like someone to contact me or just send me 2 metal cam risers for my GE model TFX20KLL (fresh-food-side) refrigerator door.
1 Answer Nikki, Unfortunately there are no metal cam risers that are designed for this model of refrigerator. The cam riser that you received was just for the piece that was on the door. It may be beneficial if you were to get the lower hinge assembly which has the lower and upper cam for the unit. This way the parts match up and will work properly. The part number for the hinge is WR13X10020. Read More...
Scott M April 17, 2014 for Model Number TFX24R, TFXW24R My door on the fridge side will not close completely. I can see the cam is shot. Is it better to order the entire hinge or just the cam. If I order the hinge does it come with cam. Hinge is not bent. Is the cam on this model held in with a screw or riveted?
1 Answer Scott, You would need to replace the hinge which comes with the cam for the upper and lower. The part number is WR13X10020. Read More...

C.J.T. January 03, 2014 for Model Number 24 inch Side by Side What repair part is needed when the dispenser for the chilled water continuously runs into the overflow and onto the floor after a glass has been filled with water?
1 Answer Hello C.J.T., While it depends on the model you have, the most likely cause is a sticky residue in the switch and linkage area of the dispenser caused by ice being dispensed into sticky drinks such as soda, kool-aid, and tea. This is such a common issue that the manufacturer recommends to dispense the ice into an empty cup and pour the ice into the drink over the sink. If you would like a more specific diagnosis, post the issue with the model number from the units' I.D. tag and we can certainly oblige. Read More...
Steve July 06, 2013 for Model Number TFX24RGD. SS 211249 The fresh food door will not close automatically, it stops about 1-2 inches from completely closing. Should I replace both the CAM Riser ( WR2X4901) and the Shim CAM (WR2X6043). I don't know which one is defective since I have not yet removed the door. Will I need the Shim (WR2X4540)? Thanks, Steve
1 Answer Steve, This issue would be most likely be caused by the Cam riser. The shim goes under the cam. Read More...
Bob June 23, 2013 for Model Number GE model # TF20RMB Serial # 203604 Our GE side by side refrigerator door does not close; we have a part # WR2X4901 CAM Riser. We're not sure how to actually replace the part; the old part cracked & broke. We know we have to remove the door & lay it flat. Is there a photo that show what it will like? Otherwise could you send some instructions?
1 Answer Bob, Once you have the door off and flat, there should be a screw holding the upper cam riser in place to remove. Remove the cam riser and install new one. Read More...
