Denzil May 12, 2020 for Model Number J BP26W Y6WW On my GE 30# Range, when using Self Clean, the oven over heats and throws an F2 error code. Does it need a new control board or is this a sensor problem?
1 Answer Denzil, The F2 code indicates the oven has reached a temperature of over 590° to 600° with the door unlocked. If the oven will turn off without unplugging then the relay is likely not stuck and this would indicate an oven sensor issue. If the oven will not turn off unless unplugged then this would indicate a stuck relay on the control board. Read More...

Debi October 22, 2016 for Model Number JBP23DR2WW My Stove clock works but the oven and burners do not .
1 Answer Hello Debi. You will need to test and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the unit. Also make sure the terminal block is good and the power cord is good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
James October 20, 2016 for Model Number JB960W0B4ww Hello, I replaced the electronic control board in my oven. It resolved an issue with my oven not being able to be shut off after turned on. Barbara C June 11, 2016 for Model Number PGS975SEM4SS Control board stops working sporadically. It decides when it wants to work and when it doesn't The oven will not work, can't set time, etc. the oven light sometimes comes on spontaneously and I cannot turn it off. What replacement part do I need and is this worth repairing? I Find this range difficult to clean and perhaps I should replace it with a simpler model. Thank you very much Barbara
1 Answer Barbara, The most likely cause for this issue would be a control board that is faulty. The part number for the control board on your unit is WB27T10813. Read More...

1 Answer Tony, No you won't need a control board. You will want to check or replace the surface unit switch WP3149400 / 3149400 Range Large Surface Unit Switch. This is the part that controls the temperature of the cook top element(s). The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks Read More...
