Denzil for Model Number J BP26W Y6WW On my GE 30# Range, when using Self Clean, the oven over heats and throws an F2 error code. Does it need a new control board or is this a sensor problem?
Answer Denzil, The F2 code indicates the oven has reached a temperature of over 590° to 600° with the door unlocked. If the oven will turn off without unplugging then the relay is likely not stuck and this would indicate an oven sensor issue.
