Gerald A. January 14, 2012 for Model Number GSD640D-03 I am quite certain that the cap I need is this one but I am not certain whether or not the cap is the problem or the tank for the rise aid. It appears that the cap will not screw into the tank and will just go in without connecting to anything and obviously will not stay in the way it should. How can I tell where the threads are stripped or must I dismantle the inside of the door to determine this? Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give me.

If you have hard water, you will need to use a extra detergent (typically one teaspoon for each grain over 12).
