Ben August 06, 2016 for Model Number PFSS6PKW The ice bucket assembly, part number PS2371090 is stuck. I've pulled out in the past and recently replaced the ice maker and it's been making ice and delivering out the chute . But today it purrs but doesn't deliver out the chute. Ice must be blocking delivery and the ice bucket must be frozen shut.

Jen March 12, 2016 for Model Number HR560550 Received this replacement ice bucket from a appliance repair shop, but it didn't fit into my GE refrigerator. It looked the same from the front, but the back had an extra little plastic piece on it and there was a square plastic piece at the top just behind the front of the bucket -- different from the original. It wouldn't allow the bucket to insert all the way and latch. My original tray has plastic rotating to push the ice forward and this new one is metal. How can I find one made like the original (without the additional plastic pieces)? I checked your site and you are showing the same as the one I just received that doesn't work even though your site says it does.

Asd February 15, 2013 Is it possible that my ice bucket is damaged causing my ice maker not to engage? I can hear the water tray fill up but the ice is never made. I can only test the system & hear the water start to fill when I hold up the white square in the back which is supposed to be engaged when the ice bin is in the fridge. However when the ice bin is in the fridge no ice ever comes out. Thanks!!

We are on our second ice bucket unit due to plastic shavings in the ice, that is comming from the front of the crushing area. The second model was slightly different but is now showing the same problems as the first defective unit, and not very healthy for you. You might not even know your drinking any plastic untill it's too late.
