Sam September 18, 2014 for Model Number CTX21DABRRAA On two occassions I used your web site to research the part number for my refrigerator model # CTX21DABRRAA. First time the live chat gave me part # AP4345120. Second time the live chat gave me part # AP5951444. When I tried to check the compatability of these two part numbers for my refigerator, your web site said these parts were not compatable. I don't know which part to get. Please help if you can.
1 Answer Hello Sam! If you currently have an icemaker installed and need to replace the icemaker you can order WR30X10093, if you need the add on kit you would order IM6D. They might not show compatible as this is an add on kit, hope this helps! Thanks! Read More...
Mary Jane M July 13, 2014 for Model Number Maytag RSD2400 I want to replace the complete icemaker. The tubing in the back of the frig has come apart and we can not get it to reattach and stay together when water is suposed to go through. I would like a whole new assembly for the icemaker with new tubing and directions on how to install the whole assembly. What should I order?
1 Answer Mary Jane, Unfortunately the icemaker kit 12500048 for your unit has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no replacement. The fill tube that the water line connects to is actually part of the unit and cannot be replaced. You may want to try to make sure that the fill tube that goes inside the unit is not frozen with ice which would be an indicator of a bad water valve. If it is frozen it will cause back pressure on the feed tube and cause it to pop out when trying to get the water into the icemaker. Read More...
2 Answers Hello Frank! The manufacturer doesn't offer any parts separate from the ice maker assembly part number WR30X10093. If you are looking for the water valve you can purchase part number WR57X10033. Thanks! Read More...
Ken W. June 14, 2014 for Model Number ctx14cazbrwh I want to add a nice maker to this refrigerator. I see plugs and caps where it would normally be. Does this unit just need the wr30x10093 ice maker? I'm not sure if the associated solenoid, water tubing or associated wiring comes already in this refrigerator as I have limited access and want to take the necessary kit with me to install. Thanks for your help!
1 Answer Ken, to add an icemaker to the unit you'll need part number IM6D. This is the kit which contains the bucket, tubing, valve and icemaker, needed to add a new icemaker. Thanks. Read More...

Patsy April 21, 2014 for Model Number PDS22MFSAWW Past couple months ice maker made a funny noise. Where the cubes dump into the bin they would freeze up solid. Two days ago it quit making ice cubes at all. Turn it on and off, no noise. What do I need to order to fix my problem?
1 Answer Patsy, Based on the information provided, you will want to check the fill tube to make sure that it is not frozen. Also make sure that you have a good water filter in your unit, if your unit has one. It sounds like you may not have been getting enough water into the unit and the icemaker was cycling too quickly. If the cubes were hollow this would be the case. Then the ice would still have water in it and would dump into the bin. If the filter is good and the fill tube is not frozen then the issue will most likely be with a faulty icemaker. Read More...
Owen S. March 31, 2014 What are the main differences between the GE ice makers IM4A and IM6? I assume the M6 has improvements over the 4A but what are they? Both units are still being manufactured and for sale I believe. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Owen! Unfortunately, we do not have the specs available to verify the exact difference. Both part numbers are icemaker add on kits for GE manufactured refrigerators. IM4A is no longer available with our company and has been replaced by the manufacturer with part number IM6D. Thanks. Read More...
New Ge Owner January 18, 2014 for Model Number GE Artistry Frigerator I just received my new Artistry refrigerator by GE. It's ice maker ready, however the instructions say to obtain the IM4A kit. Is this the only model that will fit my GE? Is the IM6 compatible? It seems to be a better model. Thanks in North Carolina.
