Mark March 02, 2011 I replaced the large right front burner on a JBP79WOB1WW and it still doesn't work. The "hot surface light" is and has been on constantly. The burner reads 220 Volts with the switch in the "OFF" position. I assume I need an AP3189829 and A proper Schematic with the right color codes per terminal. Can you help me out?
1 Answer Hello Mark, Yes you will need a new switch. The new switch is labeled on the back by each terminal. Look at the numbers on your old switch and connect it there to the new on. Example L1 to L1 ect... Hope this helps. Read More...
