For Ge Keypanel Support Assembly (Black) (Part Number: OEM13235382)

Mary for Model Number JCSP42SN1SS

Problem Keypanel Supt Asm Blk Original #WB27T11072 is discontinued, Replacement WG02L02152 is discontinued. I have been unable to locate this part either new or used. I found WB27T11076 or AP4411791 that is exactly the same length and width as my broken part and the printed words on it are also exactly the same as my broken part. I purchased this GE product July 2009! Everything else on the Range worked and looked great. The keypad just bubbled and now I'm not to recycle just throw it out? Does anyone Know of a retrofit?

1 Answer

Mary, You will want to make sure that there is not a protective coating on the panel that may just need to be peeled off. If there is not then unfortunately the keypad has been discontinued with no suitable replacement made available. Unfortunately we cannot advise if the other would work as there may be a difference in the ribbon connection that would not allow it to work and the manufacturer does not show any type of retrofit for this.

Barry, You will want to check the voltage to the oven safety valve for 3.2 to 3.6 vac. If there is proper voltage then the safety valve is faulty and if not hen the issue will be the control board.

Touchpad Mad for Model Number JBP82CH1CC, ge range

One of the touchpads that turns on the oven on my GE JBP82CH1CC range does not work. I'm pretty sure the problem is the pad (i.e., faceplate graphics asm) is damaged, not the control module. However, according to the GE and your web site, this part (AP4363783) is no longer available. Is there some way I can repair this problem (it appears the control module replacement part does not come with the faceplate included) or will this require having to replace the entire range?

1 Answer

Touchpad Mad, The keypad WB27T10525 will not be what is causing the button not to work because it is just an overlay with no membrane. The control board WB27T10473 is what actually has the keys on it and would be what needs to be replaced.

Betulio, the models we pull that use electronic control part number WB27T10352 use overlay part numbers WB57K10067 or WB57K10066. Unfortunately, these are the only parts we can suggest for that will match the electronic control given. Thanks.
