Dennis June 15, 2015 for Model Number WLW1500 My hot point washer selector switch does not engage when you push down on it. Might be stripped. Need the exact part and is it an easy fix?
1 Answer Dennis, The timer knob would be the part that you would need if it is not engaging the dial to turn. To replace you will pull the knob out and there will be a clip behind it that you pull out. Once out you pull the knob off, put new knob on and reinsert the clip. Read More...
Steve April 20, 2015 for Model Number WWA5600RBL The washer timing cycle gets stuck before the soak cycle. I can advance the knob manually so it soaks and then the washer finishes normally. Do you think its the timer or the dial.
1 Answer Steve, The most likely cause for the timer sticking at the soak cycle would be that the contacts inside the timer would be sticking and timer would need to be replaced. Read More...

Carol C. July 31, 2011 for Model Number WWA8800RBL How can I get the knob off. I lifted the front panel off the machine and can see inside but cannot access the knob to get it off. Or see inside right behind the knob. Is there a trick or do you have to take the whole timer off. Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Hello Carol. Pull out on the knob WH1X2757. Then using a ice pick or needle nose pliers, remove the clip from behind the knob. The knob will slide off the shaft once the clip is removed. Hope this helps. Read More...
Carol C. July 29, 2011 for Model Number WWA8800RBL The knob on the washer does not turn well. It should make a clicking sound and turn. It does not turn because it is not engaging the wheel behind I guess. Is the part that needs to be replaced ( AP2011927) or is it the whole timer mechanism? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Carol. You will need to remove the clip from the knob and see if the knob teeth are worn, or the timer is worn. Most likely, it is the knob WH1X2757. Hope this helps. Read More...
Roland A. May 21, 2011 for Model Number mav6548awq washer open toop Please let me know how to open front of my machine so that I can find out why machine is leaning on the right side.
1 Answer Hello Roland. To remove the front panel you insert a putty knife in the seam between the top and the front panel about 4 inches in from the corners and press in and lift up on the top, once the top is up, remove the 2 screws holding the front panel to the cross brace, and pull out and up to remove the front panel. I hope this info helps! Read More...
