Bryan February 26, 2015 for Model Number TFX22JAYAWW My GE refrigerator works fine. The freezer will not freeze things but is cold. I have heavy frost on the bottom and bottom left side of my evaporator. What is the fix? How difficult? Thank you,
1 Answer Bryan, With there being heavy frost on the bottom of the evaporator then the most common reason for this would be a restriction of the evaporator and it would be required to replace the evaporator assembly. Read More...

Diana R January 09, 2015 for Model Number GE Profile Artica PSC23NGN The refrigerator door will not close unless I lift it up, which eventually will do the trick. Which part do I need to replace? Thank you.
1 Answer Diana, You will want to adjust the post for the door hinge that goes up into the door. It sounds like this may have lowered and is causing the issue. The post is screwed into the hinge and you will want to have it raise up. Also make sure that the unit is level as this could also cause the issue if it is not leveled. Read More...

John November 12, 2013 for Model Number GE side-by-side refrigerator Model #GSS25TSWC SS Hello there, My refrigerator door, side by side unit (not the freezer door) seems to have a broken part in the bottom closing mechanism. When you open the door, it swings open and if I don't stop it, it will hit the side of the refrigerator. When closing the door there is no "spring closing" as to compared to the other side door. For example when closing my freezer door, once I close it far enough to a certain point, it then grabs the door to help close it for me. The refrigerator door use to do this and now doesn't. Hope you can help! John
1 Answer John, For the bottom of the door where the door is swinging open you will want to check the door closer WR02X10779 assembly to see if it is damaged. Read More...
