Cindy Robbins August 12, 2019 for Model Number ZBD6880K10SS I ordered the ribbon keypad from you for my dishwasher and received it fine. I am now trying to install it and when I unscrewed the front of the door from the inner door it dropped to the floor and ripped the old ribbon loose which I removed and am now ready to install the new one. My collateral damage problem is that it also disconnected 2 wires (one red and one black) that are in a clip-in connector to the Module Control Asm in the lower left corner of the Asm. I cannot tell where the opposite loose ends of the 2 wires were connected. Can you help? Thanks!
James April 22, 2015 Hello I have a GE profile dishwasher that the control board got fried when we just had a new electrical service installed. Turns out that the third phase on this three phase panel is a high leg and puts out around 180 volts. So my question is should I be looking for anything else to be fried other than the control module?
1 Answer Hello James. You will need to check all electrical connections on the unit. This could have shorted any of those parts. Read More...
Mike March 04, 2014 for Model Number WD21X10219 I was reading some of the questions and the answer to one of the questions included: "There is a supplied tech. sheet in the unit toe kick area. Use this to put the unit in a field service test mode and see if there are any other concerns." Can you explain what a field service test mode is?
1 Answer Hello Mike. It allows you to test the functions of the dishwasher. Then you can locate the bad part. Read More...
Dave November 15, 2013 for Model Number SHX 43C06UC The dishwasher works but the cycle takes many hours to complete and the contents are not very dry.
1 Answer Hello Dave. Check and see if there is something wrong with the heating circuit in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Dan May 09, 2013 for Model Number zbd6880k10ss Hi - My dishwasher is completely dead. I hear no chime anymore when I open it, and no LEDs are lit anymore. I have 120 volts coming into the unit underneath. Any what would be next? Before it died we just finished a wash cycle and there is some water left that didn't drain. thanks!!
1 Answer Dan, You will want to check to make sure that the door switches are good and check to see if you are getting power on the J1 connector between pins 1 and 3. There should be 120 vac at this point. If these check ok then the control board would need to be replaced. Read More...
George February 16, 2012 for Model Number PDW9880J10SS I have this GE dish washer. It seems the time seems to jump around but the other day we tried putting it through its cycle without using the dry cycle and it went through no jump. Can this cycle cause the time to jump around? If so what do I need to replace? If this cycle will not cause the problem what would do it and what do I need to replace?
1 Answer Hi George. You will need to change the control module part # WD21X10219. It seems as if the board logic has an issue. There is a supplied tech. sheet int the unit toe kick area. Use this to put the unit in a field service test mode and see if there are any other concerns. Thank You. Read More...

John L. June 27, 2011 for Model Number pdw9200j10bb Does the GE Module Control Asm include a thermal fuse? I'm trying to purchase the fuse but no luck. It looks like I have to purchase the assembly, so is the thermal fuse part of it?
1 Answer Hello John! Based on the model number it is not listing a thermal fuse separate from any parts. If you pulled the thermal fuse off of the module control assembly WD21X10219 it will more than likely come with this part since it is not available separate. Thanks. Read More...
