Seva November 26, 2017 I have old Kenmore electric range. The broken element had about 4" from the mounting bracket to the terminal end. The terminal end connections to wires were behind the back wall of the range. The replacement part I got has 3" from the mounting bracket to the terminal end. In this case connections will stay inside (not behind back wall, but inside the insulation). Is this safe?
