Me May 24, 2020 I have a GE Monogram side by side refrigerator. I doesn’t have a water or ice dispenser but it has a water filtration cartridge in the main part of the refrigerator ( the refrigerator is not hooked up to water (that I know of). Is there any harm in removing the cartridge so it doesn’t take up space in my refrigerator? Or is there some reason I would need to leave it? When I do pull it out there does seem to be water in it.
