Dan March 25, 2011 for Model Number dbsr453eb3ww Dryer starts as soon as the timer knob is turned to a cycle. If the door is opened, it will stop, but will start again as soon as the door is shut. The start switch no longer springs back like it used to and everything operates normally except you don't have to use the start switch.

1 Answer Hello. You will need to test the door switch, thermal fuses, and rotary start switch. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity.
