Hello Rhonda, To replace the rotary switch and knob. Pull knob straigth off. Access the rear of control panel by removing screws in the panel making sure the unit is unplugged. Once you have access you will then lift tab and twist part out. Disconnect wire 1 at a time and reconnect to new one as you pull them off. Once you do this just replace in reverse.
