Nancy Hart June 05, 2023 for Model Number 418004WI The model number for my GE stove is clearly marked 418004WI. I can't read the serial number at all, except it has a T in it. GE claims ALL its stove model #s begin with a letter. This is a 1958-1960 era stove. I want to replace two of the surface burners. Any suggestions about what model number to use?
1 Answer Nancy, There should be at least one letter in front of the model number. We would need to have a complete model number to be able to advise on any parts. Read More...
Carl November 28, 2022 Do you have the wattage for WB30X356? I need the geometry shown for WB30X356 with a power of 1600 W. Or, if you prefer, do you have the resistance of the two coils? I need 56 ohm for the outer coil and 84 ohm for the inner coil. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Carl, the manufacturer does not provide that information other than the total wattage is listed as 1350 watts. Read More...
Kathy November 13, 2021 for Model Number JB500G0H5AD Do you have a video showing replacement of the 4-6-8 large burner on my GE stove? It has 3 coil ends on each side. Thank You.
1 Answer Kathy, unfortunately, we do not currently have a repair video for the manufacturer's discontinued surface burner WB30X346. This element was designed so that it could be lifted up and the wires switched to a new element one at a time after power supply to the range is turned off. Read More...
Heather August 02, 2021 for Model Number GE range 1J245N Hi, I have a 1940's (I think?) GE range that is working great, but for the stovetop I need to replace the large burner and one of the small burners. Mine is the type of burner that has the outside ring attached. Do you have the burners I need? I'm having trouble finding that model number on your website. Here's a link with my exact type of stove, if that will help (except, sadly, mine is white instead of pink!): https://www.ebth.com/items/12403165-general-electric-model-1j245n-electric-range-mid-20th-century Thank you for any help you can give!
1 Answer Heather, Based on the information provided the element part numbers are: WB30X356 and WB30X354 Read More...
David D June 26, 2020 for Model Number GE JM64W 1WH This is a circa 1962 GE drop-in range. Hoping to replace one of the 6" diameter burners with 2 elements, 3 conductors and integrated chrome ring.
Vickie January 17, 2020 for Model Number XR16708 I have a GE cooktop from about 1958 that needs new burners. I found a possible appliance number on a blue tag, but it was hard to read. The six might be an 8, the 8 might be a 6, and it might not be complete. The cooktop has push-buttons on the front left with 6 settings (HI, 2, 3, Lo, WM, off). It looks like WB30X356 and WB30X354 might be right (burners have attached ring). The Appliance Compatibiity Tool could not find my attempt at the appliance model number. I cannot read anything else on the blue tag. Is the model number on this blue tag, or do i need to look somewhere else. thanks
1 Answer Hello Vickie, if this tag also contains a serial number you've located the correct tag. If this is the correct model number, we will no longer have any parts to support this unit as the information for the unit is no longer in our database or microfiche cards. Sorry! Read More...
Sunny Sue January 16, 2020 I have a Hotpoint Calrod stand-alone drop-in cooktop separate from the oven. The burner elements tilt up but the entire flat surface is not moveable. Where do I find a model number? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Sunny Sue, The model and serial numbers are located either behind the storage drawer on the right side of the oven frame or on the right side of the bottom oven frame. Read More...
David November 14, 2019 I have a GE rangetop that is undoubtedly original to my house which was built in 1967. I need a new burner. The metal tag on the underside of the rangetop says the model number is: J P7601DC. The serial number of the rangetop is: Z CP59308. It is a 7.1 KW rangetop. Do you have replacement burners? I specifically need one of the smaller burners. The burners are all two conductors which means each burner has four terminals that attach to the rangetop.
1 Answer David, We were unable to find the model or cross-reference the model number you supplied but based on your parts description you may want to consider the WB30X341 Surface Element, 8"] Unit Surface 6" and WB30X341 Surface Element, 8" These are the two top burner elements with 4 rods and 3 terminals. Thanks, Read More...
Will November 02, 2019 The model number on the stove's tag reads J 339 C1 WH, but this doesn't appear to be recognized as a model number. Any suggestions for how to go about finding a replacement heating element?
1 Answer Hello Will, the right front and left rear is part number WB30X356, the right rear is part number WB30X354. Unfortunately the left front was part number WB30X152 but it is no longer available and the manufacturer did not supply a suitable replacement to take its place. Read More...
Sandra May 21, 2019 for Model Number J44602WH I asked earlier about part # AP2634795 and If it would work with my GE 1956 stove. Looks exactly like what I disassembled. Will AP2634798 work for the 6"?
1 Answer Hello Sandra, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to please post a new question including the verified model number from the units' I.D. tag since the one provided will not come up for us as a valid model number. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
