Mike August 26, 2020 for Model Number GE. ZVC36L1SS Hello, My hood lights will only work on the lowest setting. I can't change the setting to make them brighter. The fan will not work at all. Will replacing the switch box solve the issue? How do I remove and install new switch box? Thank-you, Mike
1 Answer Hello MIke, the switch box assembly is not communicating with the main control board to change settings, the switch box is WB03X10347. Read More...
John T October 25, 2018 for Model Number GE ZVC42L1SS Controls only turn on the fan and control fan speed. Lights won’t operate. Replaced all bulbs with same result. Even the part of the control panel designated for lights will kick in the fans. Is this a control box issue or other? Thank you!
1 Answer John, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty main board WB27X24320. Read More...
John Mitrovic July 22, 2018 for Model Number ZVC36L1SS The fan of our unit has power but when you click the switch it doesn’t have enough power to turn on the fan. If I take a pencil and start the fan then it will run but only at high-speed. Once it is running the control switches do not change the speed. My question is do I need a new switchboard or is this a capacitor issue? Or a motherboard issue?
1 Answer John, it sounds like you have a motor start winding issue, I would replace the motor, part number is WB26X31760 Read More...
