On regular dry, it has resistance on 20mins+, but jumps/notches from 20mins to 0 (you cannot set it for 10mins). Same with other settings, it jumps to 0. Thank you.

Betsy April 28, 2014 for Model Number DBSR463EG3WW We bought a timer for our dryer. It only worked on timed dry. The heat level seems lower. The new timer is doing the same thing. Lower heat on other 2 cycles. Here is also my serial number: AR746411A. The new timer I installed is WE4M533.
1 Answer Hello Betsy, You need to check the exhaust duct all the way out. I needs to be a full four inch diameter and should not have any crimps or clogs. This will cause the symptom you have described. Read More...

Patsy March 19, 2014 for Model Number GTDP301ELOWS Replaced knob on dryer/worked for a while/now dryer just buzzes when I turn it on, dryer/doesnt work at all. Whats the problem. Just order parts from you for dryer. DARN/shipping& handling is breaking me.Thank you .
1 Answer Patsy, If the dryer is just buzzing when you start it, then you will want to check to see if the motor is what is making the buzzing noise. It is possible that the motor could be making the noise and could be a seized drum bearing or the drum is hung up not allowing it to turn. Also could be a faulty motor start winding which would make a buzzing noise when you try to start. Read More...
