Corey July 17, 2013 for Model Number WCXR1070A1WW The washer is not cleaning well. Also, when it is done with the cycle there is still water and the clothes are really wet.
1 Answer Hello Corey, If the drain pump has not failed, there could be a clog between the outer tub and the drain pump. The most common cause of this issue is foreign items and debris in the pump. This can sometimes be cleared but the impeller should be checked since it is prone to separate from the drain pump motor shaft. Read More...
Rick January 28, 2013 for Model Number wcxr1070a1ww The washer won't start, but if I play around with the different settings on the timer it will start.Do I need a new timer,is there any way I can check it. thanks
1 Answer Hello Rick. If you can play with the timer and get the unit to start, then the timer is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. However, if the unit hums, but does not start, and then after fooling with the timer does start, the motor is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. Read More...

Denis June 26, 2012 for Model Number wcxr1070t5ww My washer overflows only when it is filling up for the final rinse in any cycle setting. The machine fills up and shuts off for small, medium, and large loads perfectly. Its just the rinse part when it leaks. I push in the knob to shut off the machine but the water still runs. The machine shuts off but the water keeps on coming. You have to shut the water main to get it to stop running. Help?
1 Answer Hello Denis, This is a bad cold water inlet valve WH13X10024. If the water had stopped when the machine were turned off, the issue would have been electrical. Read More...
Niel M. June 10, 2012 for Model Number WBXR1060T3WW Can I order just a part of the timer? The two plastic tabs that hold it in place broke off the end of the top plate of the timer's housing. I also need a timer knob and dial. Do they come with diagrams to help you sequence it with the proper cycles?
1 Answer Hello Niel. WH11X10015 is the skirt, WH1X2754 is the knob, and WH12X1000 is the timer. You can not just replace parts of the timer, it is replaced as an assembly. There are marks on the shaft to line the skirt proper with the timer. Read More...
Robert August 30, 2011 for Model Number WCXR1070AWW Can a bad timer affect the water level switch? I replaced the water switch and the water level will not shut off.
1 Answer Hello Robert! No, the timer does not have any affect on the water level switch overfilling. If you have replaced the water level switch and it still overfills check the water level hose and make sure that is not clogged or kinked. If that is ok, it is more than likely the valve that has failed and needs replacing. Your valve is part number WH13X10024. The part is a replacement from the original and may look different, however, it is a direct replacement and will work the same. Thanks. Read More...
