Mike August 25, 2023 for Model Number LFX31945ST/05 Ice dispenser not working. Had intermittent operation for awhile (ice would dispense after several attempts). Once in awhile i noticed the ice dispensing door would open/close normally but ice bucket motor wouldn't start. At this time, nothing happens when the ice button is depressed. I can hear a switch clicking when the ice button is depressed. Which part failure is common to these symptoms? Thanks in advance for your input...
1 Answer Mike, the ice dispenser switch 6600JB3001F would need to be tested for continuity. If it has continuity when pressed, and water is able to dispense normally, the most likely cause of failure would be the dispenser control ABQ72940005 based on the provided information. Read More...
Chuck August 11, 2023 Hi - in another question: ANSWER Chuck, Yes, the ice dispenser button ABH74219702 would be correct for your unit and the spring would be part number MHY62603705. The MHY62603705 is not the left/right springs that I am missing for the ABD7429702. I need the spring on the inside bottom right side that keeps the lever in a closed position. Without it, whenever I push on the lever to dispense ice, a light comes/stays on and then the ice dispenser motor will just keep dispensing ice.
1 Answer Chuck, To assist properly, please resubmit your question with the model number of the refrigerator. Read More...

1 Answer AMC, the best way to replace the paddle is to remove the entire dispenser cover using a putty knife. Once the cover assembly is removed, the paddle will have clips in the back that can be moved to allow the paddle to be removed. Read More...
