Lisa January 02, 2012 for Model Number wm2277hw, Serial # 410kw00327 Will this hinge fit my dryer door? I was told by a Sears repair tech that I had to buy an entire new front panel to fit the new replacement hinges they developed for this dryer (since there seemed to be a problem with corrosion with the original hinges.)If this is the case, exactly what parts do I need to buy to replace the hinge on this dryer? I just don't have a very good feeling about this particular tech. Seemed in a hurry to order as many parts as possible and spent very little time actually looking at my machine.
1 Answer Hello Lisa. Yes, based on the model number, 4775ER2002A is the correct hinge and should be all you should need to replace the hinge. Hope this helps. Read More...
Bob October 03, 2011 Would this part work with the DLE2532W LG dryer, as the door hinge? The door hinge part number is AP5071336, which I can see is NOT this part. However, the 2 hinges look very similar, and, it seems to be impossible to find the AP5071336 hinge. Thanks.
