Josh July 30, 2019 for Model Number AEQ36756901 I purchased a new house and the fridge ice maker and water dispenser has never worked. I've checked the line and there is water coming in to the fridge. The LED panel on the door lights up and functions as expected. But when I try and pour water nothing comes out. Additionally, the ice maker is not filling with water either and thus not making ice. There is a button that should cycle through 3 LEDs on the side of the ice maker but none of those LEDs respond when the button is pushed. Any thoughts?

Mike F June 15, 2019 My AEQ36756914 ice-maker has stopped working. It cycles through all the functional tests including that I can see the motor moving, arm cycles and parks, fills, then returns to initial status. I do wonder if the heater is working as it is the first test but not sure how to tell if it is ok, like will the function test stop if not ok? Also does something on the refrigerator control board control icemaking or is it all controlled by the ice-maker and if so can it be reset? If nothing else I will replace the ice-maker but it would be nice to know for sure that's the problem as they are expensive!

James Willis May 06, 2019 for Model Number LFX25978SW/00 Trying to help a friend. After the water filter was changed and the system purged of air the ice maker was reset and fills with water but shuts off . The circuit breaker was reset but ice maker will not stay on. The water dispenser works fine but all worked fine until the filter was changed.

Texsis February 22, 2019 for Model Number LFX25971SB03 Ice maker stopped cycling. Ice in tray but no power to ice maker and power button seems loose. Is it worth taking this apart to see if there is something loose that could be fixed?

1 Answer Randall, The arm should be rotated almost under the icemaker and will move out when cycling to tell whether the bin is full or not. Stace July 23, 2018 for Model Number LFX25971ST/1 My refrigerator ice maker is not working correctly. I removed the ice maker and defrosted it, the bar was frozen. Once defrosted the bar goes up and down fine. I reinstalled it and reset it and now it is making about 6 - 12 cubes a day. The water is filling up the tray, then freezing the cubes in the tray, but the ice is not dropping into the bin. When I open the left side door assembly and hold the door button in, the top air supply turns on and is blowing cold air into the ice maker. Thanks
