Paul, There is a reset button on the bottom of the ice maker on the front cover. Press and hold until the ice maker cycles and watch the process until it fills. If you hear the valve shut off and water still runs into the ice maker and overflows then the valve would be the issue. If the ice maker starts filling before the tray is in the fill position or any other problem then replace the icemaker.

Edwin, Check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen and if it is not frozen then this will be a faulty icemaker assembly.

Graeme, The sensor is held in with a combination of the foam 5410JA3011A and the sensor cover 3550JA3095A. If you have the sensor cover you could just use a piece of stryofoam of any kind and just cut it down to fit in between the sensor and the cover.
