Michael July 08, 2020 for Model Number lsc27926sb Hello. The ice maker for my LG lsc27926sb makes ice just fine. The problem is that it never stops making ice - as if it never detects that the ice bucket is full. Thoughts?

Michael August 27, 2019 for Model Number LG LSC23924ST/00 The ice maker makes ice normally most of the time but occasionally water comes out the in-door ice dispenser. I am unsure if it the tray over filling or the cubes not freezing completely then dumping the unfrozen water.
1 Answer Sometimes all the ice from the dispenser doesn't make it through the dispenser door and will sit there and melt and you can get a little water out the door at times...I would check it closely to see if it is overfilling and or cycling before frozen, this, in either case, would be the ice maker. Elwood August 26, 2019 for Model Number LSC23924ST/01 Ice maker no longer distributes ice out the front door. Ice holder has a metal rod under neath that is supposed to connect to the ice maker. I used to be able to pull the ice holder out to grab ice cubes, now it won't fully close up to the ice maker, metal rod for auger motor does not key into plastic block with a hole in it.
1 Answer Elwood, you may want to inspect the ice bin to find if there is an ice cube that is not allowing the chute guide to close properly as this can cause the arm to not set properly and prevent the arm from entering the solenoid block. Also, you may want to inspect to ensure that the auger arms are lined up to the auger seat at the back of the bin as this can prevent the bin from setting back properly. If the bin does not sit all the way back, the auger will not engage the bin and cause ice to push forward when activated. Read More...
David July 09, 2019 for Model Number LSC23924ST What's the best way to determine if this is the issue? The ice maker initially made ice but wasn't turning to dump it unless you hit the bottom to cycle it, now it is stuck in the dumped position and won't even cycle.
1 Answer David, Check connector 8 pins 9 and 10 for 12 vdc. If the supply voltage is there from the main control you will need to replace the ice maker. 5989JA1002D Read More...
