Sid for Model Number JE1860WH04

Hi there: I have a GE microwave of the model number JE 1860WH04 for which the magnetron (original I believe) burned out. I pulled it out & it says LG Magnetron 2M246, with other boxes on the label stating 050GF, then C06C-380174. I'm not sure if I'm looking this up right but is this part you have listed the correct replacement? It shares the "LG Magnetron 2M246" but the other numbers are different. How important are those other numbers? Are those just serial numbers or are they part of the model number?

Sid, Thanks for the question!!! GE calls for part number WB26X32629. This would be the OEM replacement part, no other part is recommended for use.

Hello Tom, the manufacturer does not list the 2 magnetrons as being interchangeable or what the differences are. We would need your microwave model number to locate the correct replacement part for your model.

Hello John, unfortunately, the manufacturer has not provided any technical/service information on this model, however, the symptom you describe is usually a door/interlock switch problem. If you have a multimeter , unplug power to the microwave, and can access the switches, you can check their operation using the continuity setting.

Ovo, We are not showing whether these are compatible but it would be based on what the wattage for the microwave is. These most likely will not work in place of one another.

Vitaly, you would need part number [WB27X26080] for the magnetron tube. They will start running hot when they are going out, make sure all the fans are running and it is not overheating.
