Ken April 12, 2025 for Model Number LMXS30776D/02 My ice maker rotates just fine and twists just fine but has stopped making ice. There is no water in the tray. I tested at the two solenoids and when you command the water at the door that solenoid is getting 120v, but when I put the ice maker into test mode it does not show 120v at the water valve when requested. Is this an ice maker assembly or something else? P.s when requesting water through the dispenser at the front of the door it works and the requests for ice works as well. Just no water in ice maker to make ice to dispense lol.

Darwin December 24, 2023 for Model Number LMXS30776S/02 Ice maker stop making ice i check the water and everything is fine but i noticed is not even getting cold in the ice maker part what can be. first i told was the cooling fan but my fridge part is working fine thanks
1 Answer Darwin, There is an ice fan that is on the left side of the freezer back wall, if this fan is not moving air up to the ice compartment it will keep it from making ice. Open the upper left door and then push in on the light switch. There are 2 holes on the side of the cabinet and there should be air coming out of one of them. If there is no air coming out of one when pushing the light switch then it is most likely the ice fan that is faulty. If there is air then it sounds like the return duct, which is the other hole, may be blocked up with ice and will not allow air circulation. Read More...
Paul January 14, 2023 for Model Number LMXC23746S/01 When the ice maker water starts to deploy, it is overflowing, splashing all over the ice maker, and freezing all over. The filter has been replaced with a real LG filter The initial problem was the auger motor was frozen but once thawed out it is working and the ice tray uploads correctly. But when the water turns on to fill the tray, it goes all over.

Bernadette July 10, 2022 for Model Number LMXS30776S/01 My ice maker, which was replaced in 2018, suddenly stopped dropping ice. It fills, it freezes, but doesn't dump the ice into the bin unless I hit the reset button. When it was replaced before it wasn't freezing or anything. Any ideas as to if there is anything else I can try, what it may be or what I need to do?

Tom November 21, 2020 for Model Number 795.72093.310 The ice maker tray has ice but when it rotates the ice won't fall out into the ice cube tray below. It just stays in the ice maker tray. Can you tell me if there is an easy fix for that?

Mark K August 21, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore Elite 795.72482.410 First, the ice maker started leaking a little bit and then stopped making ice altogether. Then a few months later, the in-door water dispenser stopped dispensing water as well. The unit is just 5 years old. I am sure a factory repair would be very expensive. Any ideas on where to start?
1 Answer Mark, it would be recommended that the ice maker fill tube is inspected for an ice blockage. An ice blockage would indicate that the valve MJX62831301 in the left door has failed. For the dispenser, it would be recommended that the water reservoir is inspected to identify if it has frozen and that the water filter is verified as being relatively new.
