Michael M September 21, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore Elite 79572053118 I successfully replaced the ice dispenser door motor, however the little arm at the end of the motor that extends in and out keeps slipping off the "rotating arm piece" (sorry, don't know the name). It's almost like the end of the motor arm is not long enough to make good contact. Is there some adapter or way to improve this contact? It will work for awhile, then it will slip off. I can still hear the motor actuating in and out but the door doesn't open. Just keeps slipping off.

Jim September 20, 2020 for Model Number EAU59551204 I installed the a new ice dispenser door motor correctly. Before replacement I could get water, you could hear the ice “churn” but the ice would not come out. After replacement, I now get no water and there is no “churning”.
