Terry April 11, 2012 for Model Number LFC25760SB The display showing the freezer/refrig temp only seems to work on the freezer side. The refrigerator side doesn't even light up. The part is AP4439660 but can I be sure that is what is wrong?
1 Answer Hello Terry. If there is power coming to the display board 6871JB1374B, but only half of the board works, and there are no loose connections, you will need to replace the display board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Vic December 14, 2011 for Model Number LFC25760SW I purchsed the pcb assembly / display board for this model refrig. Please illustrate installation procedure. I removed the defective one by forcing it out on an angle from the top cover. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Vic. 1. First, remove all shelves in the refrigerator, than remove the Refrigerator control Box by loosening 2 screws. 2. Remove the Refrigerator Control Box by pulling it downward. 3. Disconnect the lead wire on the right position and separate the lamp sockets. 4. Replace PCB assembly 6871JB1374B. 5. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
