Teeter979 for Model Number LFC25760SB

Recently my refrigerator display went out and I can no longer adjust the temperature. It's extremely cold and my food is freezing. Prior to this I had experienced the well known issue of the interior lights staying on, but just solved it by removing the light bulb. I understand that the light issue can be fixed by replacing the control board. Will this also fix the display/temp adjustment issue, or do I need to replace the display control panel?

1 Answer

Bi, For the issue with the lights staying on when the door is closed, you will want to replace the main control board of the unit. The part number for the control board is 6871JB1423N.

Terry, The instructions sent to Vic, are right out of the service manual. Once you have the assembly disconnected and down , you do need to be careful, releasing the tabs that hold the board in place on the control assembly., as long as you're careful you should be fine. Good Luck and Thanks
