Rathdro February 03, 2026 for Model Number LDF7774BB I have power to my LG LDF7774BB Dishwasher PCB, both fuses, line filter and PCB, are good, door lock microswitches are good. All buttons are unresponsive. There is a red LED on the board and it is not lit. Should that light be on and does that indicate a bad PCB? It's an expensive part so I want to be sure before I order it. Thanks!
1 Answer Rathdro, This would indicate that the Main Pcb is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Bugs October 27, 2022 for Model Number LG LDF7774BB Bought a Pcb Main Control Panel (AP597782) here to replace the overheated/fried panel in this dishwasher. Question - Two of the quick-connect wires burned and the quick-connect is no longer useful. Those wires (blue and brown) feed back to the noise filter (from power source). Where can I purchase the quick connect (blue-colored) insert so I can splice the wires and connect the new panel?
1 Answer Bugs, It appears that to get the connector, you will need to get the wire harness for the model which is part number EAD61725002. Read More...
Linton January 27, 2022 for Model Number LDF7774ST my dishwasher has power but the buttons will not respond. I've turned the power off by the breaker and when I turn it back on the only code is PF (power failure) what could be the problem. Is there anyway I could test. Also I try doing the diagnostic testing using the code and my cell phone but nothing happens. Please advise.
1 Answer Linton, it would be recommended that the touchpad be checked to identify if the child lock has been activated (indicated by a red padlock LED). If so, it can be de-activated by pressing and holding the rinse and the spray buttons until the red padlock image disappears. If the indicator does not disappear, or it was not illuminated at all, the most likely failure would be the main control EBR79686304 if absolutely no button responds. Read More...
Dean December 01, 2020 for Model Number LDF7774BD I’m continuing to get drain errors and the tub has water in it. I replaced the pump and ensured that there were no obstructions in the drain. I don’t believe the pump is being turned on. If I try and manually turn it on after a few attempts it will work. After that it will complete 1 full cycle then I’m back with drain faults. And suggestions? The dishwasher is 14 months old.
1 Answer Dean, check and make sure the door is closing and latching, and the door switches are being closed and staying closed during the cycle. Check the wiring connections at the control board and the drain pump.Recheck the drain hose for any "sharp" bends that may kink or collapse once the hot water has passed through the drain line. Then replace the control board if all's OK. Thanks, Read More...
Brian April 12, 2020 I have a LDF7774ST Dishwasher that at the very end of the wash cycle produces the HE error code. I have tried flipping the breaker which didn't fix it. I have replaced the heating element twice and that didn't fix it. I have also replaced the control board which didn't fix it. Anything else to look for?
1 Answer Brian,This is a heater element circuit fault code so it could be the thermostat and or the wiring, this can be checked with a meter. Read More...
