Jim, The sensor sounds like it is good and if it is just the refrigerator section that is not cooling then check for a defrost issue in the freezer and also check to make sure that the damper in the refrigerator at the bottom of the cover in the back is working.

Mike C, Thanks for the question!!! At 32 degrees the sensor resistance should be about 30k ohms. At 7.65k ohms resistance would represent 93 degrees. So your sensor has failed.

Jeff, Remove the back cover in the refrigerator section and check the evaporator coil to make sure that it is not impacted with ice. If it is then this will be a defrost issue and will need to check to make sure that the defrost sensor and heater are good. If they are then replace the control board. If the coils are not impacted with ice then check to make sure that the evaporator fan motor in the refrigerator section.

Cody, the thermistor would be located just behind the light cover inside of the housing assembly ACQ85449506. There will be two screws in the front of the housing that would need to be removed. This will allow the front end to drop down where the back can then be pulled forward out of mounting slots. The sensor is going to be a part of the LED assembly EAV62052301.

Dani, If you look on the ceiling of the refrigerator compartment, this is where you will locate a grate that you pop off and the thermistor is located under that.

Don, there are two thermistors 6500JB2001B in the refrigerator. There will be one at the top and one in the middle of the right wall and they are located behind the sensor covers 3550JQ2073E.
