John July 03, 2017 for Model Number Kenmore Range 94173 Glass Top Electric Range I have burned terminals on the large (front right) heating element - both male and female terminals. What parts do I need to order and are special tools needed for the crimps? Thanks

There will be three numbers before the number you posted, possibly in a different font, that may enable us to pull technical information on your specific unit and parts that can be guaranteed to work properly on your unit. Melissa November 23, 2015 for Model Number jbp30ba4ad GE oven I need to replace the female terminal for my oven's bake element. Its the side where not just one, but two 16 gauge wires connect to it. Will this 16 gauge terminal work to clamp the wires, or do I need a larger gauge to accommodate the two 16 gauge wires?
Cheryl July 21, 2015 for Model Number 5664122 This is a high temp non-ins terminal. Is there a video on line that I can refer to for help? Thank You, Cheryl
1 Answer Cheryl, There would not be a video on how to install a terminal. In order to install it you would need to cut the old connector off and strip the end of the wire, put it into the hole on the new connector and crimp the connector around the wire. Read More...
Bob April 02, 2015 for Model Number 790.95658000 Hot surface indicator light on constantly. What can I do to remedy this?
1 Answer Bob, The hot surface indicator would be staying on due to a temperature sensor on one of the elements being defective. You would want to test each one for resistance at room temp. If there is one that does not match up then that is the element that would need to be replaced. Read More...
Pam H. February 24, 2015 for Model Number JKP26002AD My double oven temperature is inaccurate. I always have to turn it down from 25 to 50 degrees or it burns things. What would I need to calibrate the ovens?
1 Answer Hello Pam, This is most likely the temperature sensor WB21X5301 going out of tolerance. It should read about 1100 ohms of resistance at about 70°F. If this reads good, go to the board and check for the same resistance. If it is good, replace the clock. If it is not good, check the harness for issues. There will be a sensor in both the top and bottom ovens and they will need to be tested individually. Read More...

John W April 29, 2014 for Model Number TES355KT After turning the oven off we noticed a bright burning glow on the left side of the baking element. It continued burning on the left side of the element with sparks until we unplugged the stove. I am also concerned that a relay switch might not be functioning properly. We waited 30 minutes and plugged in the stove. There was no activity in the baking element. We did not try the oven again for fear it would start burning again. Please advise.
