Hello Josh! The schematic shows that the white wire should have 5 volts. You could test the resistance of the motor by checking the black to brown wire, you're looking for 33 to 46 ohms. Hope this helps!

Ed, You will want to check to see if there is power going to the latch assembly. If there is no power then the control board would be the issue and if there is power then the latch assembly is the issue.

Hello Woody, This requires the removal of the spin basket. Raise the main top and remove the tub cover and the washplate. The spin basket should lift right out at this point.

Hello Roger, This can be caused by a bad hall sensor DC31-00098A, a harness issue, or a bad main control. Check the motor Hall Sensor. • Check the resistance on the main PCB motor (Between pins 2 and 4, 3 and 4 of the four (4) pins) - Resistance : Approx. 2 to 4 MO. If this tests good, testing the control end of the harness will prove the harness good or bad. If this tests good also, replace the board DC92-00618C.

JB, The 8E error code is a MEMS error. If the output from the MEMS sensor is over 4.5V or under 0.5V and it continues for 5 seconds, this error occurs. 1. Check the MEMS sensor and PBA. 2. Check the wire connector terminals.
