Gary June 26, 2011 for Model Number RS2534WW What should the resistance reading be across this unit when using a digital multi-meter. My present one has a reading of infinity instead of something in the low K range. Should it be close to 0?
1 Answer Hi Gary. I tried to research the information you need. The manufacture does not supply us with the exact value you need. Yes you should set your digital ohm meter to its lowest ohm setting. The heater should give a sort of low ohm reading from .5 to 1.5 ohms. The wire heater needs resistance and as long as it has a relatively low value, and not infinity (open). As long it is not open then you should be ok. I hope this helps. Thank -you. Read More...
