Steve October 22, 2015 for Model Number RSG307AARS/XAA-0001 I purchased your AP5587936 icemaker unit and need some help on how to access the electrical connector. The wire passes through a small hole in the dispenser housing (AP5649985) and I have removed the housing screws but the housing still feels attached and I do not want to break it. What do I need to do to get to the icemaker electrical connector? Thank You
1 Answer Hello Steve. Disassemble the Ice-Bucket Assy by holding the handles and pulling up the bottom part slightly. Lift up the Icemaker Cover and gently pull out. Unscrew the 4 screws and disassemble the Auger Motor Assy as shown. Disconnect the housing connectors by gently pulling. Unscrew the 3 screws for icemaker. Disassemble the Ice Maker Assy.
