Linda April 14, 2019 I was given a Samsung Fridge Freezer RS2555 and find it is not cooling sufficiently. The technician diagnosed the need for a new main control board, which I'm grateful he located on your site. We live in Dominican Republic where the power goes off fairly regularly. Greta December 06, 2017 for Model Number RS2555SL Our side by side refrigerator is continuously beeping with an alarm sound. The ice lights are cycling through cubed, crushed and off. We have tried unplugging and it does not fix the problem. I was going to order the control panel and replace but i wanted to check and see if that would fix the problem. Ba November 28, 2017 for Model Number RF268ABRS/XAA Our Samsung fridge and freezer stopped working all of a sudden. We had a repairman come out to do a diagnostic and he said the "control board" is malfunctioning. We ordered a control board on our own the part number we got was DA4100620C and installed it. Unfortunately it did not fix the problem. Could it be that we ordered the wrong model? or perhaps there are multiple control boards for this fridge and we replaced the wrong one? Thanks.
1 Answer BA, It appears that you received the correct control board but you can look at the tag on the original part and make sure that the numbers match. If they do then test to see if there is 120 vac going to the compressor and if there is proper power then the issue would likely be the start device for the compressor that has failed. Read More...
