Precious November 07, 2017 for Model Number RF217ACRS/XAA I've had Freon put in two times already. Each time the service guy said it could possibly be the main control board? I purchased a Brand New Main Control board and waited about two hours to see if the temperature would change and it is still at 76°F. What could possibly be the problem?
1 Answer Hello Precious, If you had Freon put in twice it could be overcharged or there is a leak. Freon should not be able to escape the sealed system. The issue could be electrical if there is no leak. An experienced technician should be contacted for a proper diagnosis of the sealed system. A vacuum should be drawn on the sealed system for 30 minutes and the gauges left on the system for an additional 30 minutes to prove there is no leak before a critical charge is installed. Dakota August 18, 2017 I have a Samsung model# RS261MDWP the fridge side is working and the freezer will freeze sometimes. The control panel above ice and water dispenser won't work and is blocking blue on freezer side of temp control. This happened after a power surge. Do I need to replace the control board?

Barbara August 17, 2017 for Model Number Rs2477sw Our side by side front panel is not reading correctly. We have the inside drawer reading 36 but the outside the temp climbs up then goes back down. Only the top in the fridge will not cool.
