Julia July 21, 2018 for Model Number WF218ANW/XAA My washer is showing nd (not draining). I cleaned the debris filter, but that didn't help. The repairman looked at it and said it's a control board issue not the pump as he feels the pump (motor/ magnetic control) would still be making some noise. Has anyone had this issue?
1 Answer Julia, You would want to test to make sure that the pump is getting 120 vac to it. If it is but not running then this would be a bad drain pump. If there is no power getting to the pump then check the wiring between the pump and the board and if the wiring is ok then the board would be the issue. Read More...
Eric W January 04, 2016 for Model Number WF218ANB/XAA-0000 Randomly the display on our washer will very dim. You can see the indicator lights when the room lights are off, but cannot see anything on the wash selection or length of time to wash display. Then a few times later, it will go back to normal. Without inspection, I believe it's simply a loose connector, but it's not easy to access, so I haven't investigated yet. Is it potentially the back panel?
1 Answer Eric, It is very possible that there could be a loose connection to the control panel. If all the connectors check ok then the display control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Mark January 11, 2015 for Model Number samsung wf218anb/axaa My selector knob is not working. It will not change the selection from what it was previously. However, all of the buttons work, just not the cycle selector knob. Does this need a whole new control panel or is there something easier to try. I unplugged it for a minute or two without success. Thanks.
1 Answer Mark, This issue would be caused by a faulty control board which is part number DC92-00287C. Read More...
Spence P November 13, 2014 for Model Number Samsung WF218ANB I get no response from my Samsung washer when I push the power button. It appears that the washer is not getting any power but I tried the outlet and the outlet is fine. I have looked some online and it looks like it may either be the main board or the display control board. I can find the part for the display control board but not for the main board on your website. Which part do you think I need if either?
1 Answer Spence, You will want to check the EMI filter for your unit and make sure that it is good. If it checks ok then the issue will be with the main control board. Read More...
