Peter December 03, 2015 for Model Number RF265AASH/XAA-0000 I am looking for a temperature sensor to stop the refrigerator drain hole freezing. The sensor fits behind the refrigerator back plate. It could be either AP4136842 or AP4338926 (I think the latter is more likely). The Samsung diagrams are not clear. Samsung also says it is part # DA32-00006S, but your website says it is not compatible. Can you please advise?
1 Answer Peter, The part number that you will need for a freezing drain would be DA61-14306A. It is not the sensor that would be causing the drain to freeze but would be a slow drain. Read More...
Kenny S August 18, 2014 for Model Number RB195BSSB The refrigerator section is freezing up. I see there are two sensors. Do you know which one is for the refrigerator section?
1 Answer Hello David. First thing to check for is a bad door switch on the unit. If the door switch is bad, it will prevent the unit from coming on and running properly. If the switches are good, then replace the main board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
1 Answer Hello Melissa. The sensor DA32-10105T is not hard to replace in a refrigerator. You will need to access the sensor and unplug the connector from the wires and install the new sensor in reverse order. Read More...
