Scott, Run the self-diagnosis test to determine if there is a component not functioning as designed. Self Diagnosis: Press Energy Saver & Lighting buttons simultaneously (No sound when both buttons are pressed at the same time) for 8-12 seconds, until the display quits blinking and beeps. Release buttons and read Fault Codes.

Shawn, Resistance for the temp sensor in the refrigerator side should read around 11.5k ohms of resistance at 38 degrees. But if you have the compressor and fans running it should be getting cold. A unit that is warming up with the compressor and fans running will usually have a sealed system problem and require a certified refrigeration tech.

Matthew, you may want to test the defrost assembly for proper operation as this can cause the ice build up. It is possible that the ice build up can negatively impact the fan motor.

Alfred, With the refrigerator section getting too cold then this would most likely be a faulty temp sensor which would be part number DA32-10109Y.

Hello Douglas. It does not sound like the sensor. Check the condenser fan motor and make sure the condenser coils are clean on the unit. If so, then if there is no frost pattern on the coils, you have sealed system failure and will need an HVAC tech to repair the unit.
