For Samsung Svc-Igniter (Part Number: OEM21043425)

Jack, The DE81-02696A / 76482-001 Top burner spark igniter is the factory direct replacement part for your product. It is no longer available at AppliancePartsPro.com. Before you order/purchase the part " Note: if original burner rings had holes around the base you will need to order new burner rings using your model number. The new electrodes are not compatible with those style rings. Dacor recommends replacing all the electrodes." Thanks,

Tyle, the burner rings should be able to pull up away from the bottom burner ring. The bottom burner ring would be mounted to the base by two screws that would need to be removed. The same will need to be done for each burner to allow the top to be removed to access the burner manifold base to change out the ignitor.

Gennette, You will want to check the switches on the burners to make sure that the switch is not bad. This issue could be the switch or the spark module.

Peter, It would appear that the manufacturer does not offer the igniter as a separate part and you would need to get the burner assembly in order to get the igniters.

R for Model Number DACOR RSD30S

Yellow flame with soot on front left burner. Hi. I cleaned the burner ring and stuck a pin through each of the burner holes to ensure nothing was block. However, when I light the burner the flames leap high and are yellow, along with the smell of gas. None of the other burners exhibit this behavior. I switched both the front left and back right burner rings and caps. Same outcome. Is something else i.e. other part can be replaced? Or do I need new burner rings? Thanks

1 Answer

R, If the same thing occurred on the left front burner with the other burner ring on it then the issue will most likely be a burner valve issue. The part number for the left front valve will be dependent on the serial number. If the serial number was prior to FD7220084 then you will need part number 86082 and if after that serial number then will need 86277.
