2 Answers Ron, Yes, based on your post description and information, the problem is most likely in the gas valve DC62-00201A / DC62-00201A. The gas valve solenoids and/or the internal plungers can make a rapid clattering or chattering noise, eventually the plunger will "drop out" and fail and the burner flame will extinguish and the dryer stop heating. Joe December 24, 2016 for Model Number DV350AGW/XAA-0000 When we turn the dryer on we now hear a really loud obnoxious buzzing noise mainly until the flame lights. I've heard it was due to the gas valve needing to be replaced. Is this likely accurate? Anything else I should consider swapping since I'll have the dryer pulled and open? How difficult would this job be? I haven't found any videos on YouTube or anything. Thanks for your help!

Luis April 24, 2016 for Model Number DV42H5000GW/A3-0000 Can you please tell me if it is recommended to replace the entire burner part or just the coils, I tested and I can see the burner getting red but no gas flows so no flame, I'm assuming is only the coils but no videos about testing it so not sure. tested the gas line and all checked ok Thanks
