Ron L. for Model Number DV45H6300GW/A3-0000 My Samsung dryer is running on propane and worked fine for a year until now. It ignites fine, but the flame stays on for maybe a minute or two. Then in a few seconds it ignites again and goes through the same process. I didn't notice this at first because I was concentrating on a clattering sound the dryer was making. I thought it was a loose spring, but tearing into it I found everything intact. The clattering was not constant and it seems to happen around the flame ignition process. Could this be a bad valve and it chatters like the sound of something being loose?
Answer Ron, This issue would most likely be caused by the gas coils on the unit. You can use coils part number 279834. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 15, 2017
Answer Ron, Yes, based on your post description and information, the problem is most likely in the gas valve DC62-00201A / DC62-00201A. The gas valve solenoids and/or the internal plungers can make a rapid clattering or chattering noise, eventually the plunger will "drop out" and fail and the burner flame will extinguish and the dryer stop heating. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 15, 2017
