Austin August 01, 2026 for Model Number mvw4505mw2 The washer acts as if it is stuck in delicate mode. I’ve tried the system reset, it does nothing. I can manually move the shift actuator arm to put the washer in a different mode and it seems to work. Would a new actuator solve my issue or is there something else I should check?

Anthony February 14, 2026 for Model Number WTW4957PW0 Wash is randomly draining and won’t stop, no other features work while doing it, pull power will not reset it and I keeps draining when it is empty.
1 Answer Hello Anthony, thank you for reaching out to AppliancePartsPros.com Your washer is going into emergency drain mode, the easiest way to diagnose this is as follows: Emergency drain should run for 6-10 minutes, allow the washer to run through this cycle. If this drain cycle is not allowed to complete then the washer will keep trying to run it until allowed to do so or the main control [W11578827] is replaced. If the washer will complete the emergency drain, attempt to run a normal cycle to verify if everything is working normally now. If the drain cycle does not complete after 6-10 minutes, disconnect the pressure hose from the main control and allow the drain to run for an additional 6-10 minutes. If the emergency drain stops after 6-10 minutes & does not go back into emergency drain when attempting to start the next cycle w/ the pressure hose disconnected there is a physical fault in the system such as suds, blockage, drain system issue, etc. If the emergency drain does not stop or immediately goes back into the drain when attempting to start a cycle with the pressure hose disconnected then the main control has failed. Rolo November 21, 2025 for Model Number WTW500DW1 So, my washer is getting stuck in sensing mode. The wash bowl will spin and stop 3-4 times before giving up. We don’t know if this is a shifter actuator issue or not, because when we run diagnostics, there are no faults or errors displaying. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
