If I understand correctly, I need 1 more tall baffle, as well as one short baffle, correct? And then I need screws to attach all 3, so I need to order 6 screws, right? Do I also need nuts, washers, or anything else? Or do I just need the 6 screws and 2 baffles? Do you offer a package of these screws, or do I have to buy 6 individual screws? Thanks!

Kevin January 23, 2014 for Model Number MDE5500AYW Hi, this is a Maytag Neptune dryer. It is working well, except that when drying white/light clothes, they often are coming out with dark marks on them. Usually short (1/2"), thin lines. I've inspected the drying bin and cannot see anything that would cause this. One of the baffles is missing - which I am replacing. Could that be the cause of the black marks (from the screw holes?) or would they be from something else?
1 Answer Kevin, You will want to check the tumbler seal on your unit to make sure that it is still there and make sure that it is not damaged. A bad seal could allow clothes to get in between the tumbler and the bulkhead and cause marks on the clothing. Read More...
