Dan January 26, 2013 for Model Number 8535075 I have Whirlpool DU1145PBA and the basket (8535075) is not very sturdy. The bottom latches break easily and there is no need for covers over the silverware because the silverware is taller than the baskets. Can you recommend a more sturdy replacement for part 8535075 that will fit in DU1145PBA?

Bobbi D. June 24, 2011 for Model Number DU1055XTV B0 I agree the silverware basket is rather difficult to work with as it will not stay latched. Can you suggest a substitute? Mine is also broken (from a bit of a fit after it dropped the silverware all over the floor for about the 100th time--I'm a slow learner) so need to order a new one.
