Dreger January 03, 2015 for Model Number Kitchenaid KEBS278D Stainless Steel We have the electric double wall ovens by KitchenAid, model KEBS278D (as per our Use and Care Guide). The fan for the upper wall oven is VERY loud and makes a churning noise. It also stays on for a very long time after we turn off the oven. We often open the door to cool it faster to get rid of the loud noise. Is there a service manual and what part do you think needs replacing? My husband is very handy and wants to attempt this himself, if that is at all possible. Thank you very much.
1 Answer Dreger, We would need to have the complete model number for your unit to be able to assist properly. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
James December 09, 2014 for Model Number RDB277PDQ2 Can you please tell me which way the fan should be blowing air, is it 'out' over the top, or is it 'in' over the to - exhaust on the bottom?
1 Answer Hello James. It blows across the top and out the bottom vent to remove cavity heat. It circulates the oven cavity. Read More...
Willard H August 28, 2014 for Model Number GBD277PDB7 I identified the problem.... vent fan was making a noise.... so, I replaced the TOP vent fan. I did not realize the thing has 2 vent fans. Bottom line: I cannot find part a no. for the bottom vent fan (schematics only show the "optional" top fan). Are they both the same? Thanks!
Gayle T. June 26, 2014 for Model Number WDE350LVQ The control panel will not light up and the oven fan blows all the time.
1 Answer Hello Gayle, This sounds like a control board WPW10197044 failure since both the fan and the display have the control board in common. Read More...

Bryant April 23, 2014 for Model Number RBD305PBD12 MY BLOWER FOR UPPER OVEN IS NOT BLOWING WHICH CAUSE THE OVEN TO CUT OFF WHAT SHOULD I BE REPLACING AND HOW DO I GO ABOUT INSTALLING IT
1 Answer Hello Bryant, If your model is actually RBD305PDB12, as per the wiring diagram, if there is no wiring issue, the problem will either be a bad fan motor WP4455334 or a bad control board 8302967. Read More...
Linda February 27, 2014 for Model Number GBD307PRS00 display only beeped no display no heat...replaced the control panel/thermal fuses/transformer by myself...programed it for the 30" cap. and both ovens work and display is back...when the oven is on the lower vent blows out air but the upper oven vent does not...and the oven is noisy...do I need to replace the upper blower? Could this of been the real problem why everything went out..over heating due to not blowing? Afraid to use the oven yet . Thank you Linda
1 Answer Hello Linda. If there is power to the upper cooling fan and it does not work, you will need to replace that fan. If it does not work, it could damage the boards in the unit. Read More...
Rod February 04, 2014 for Model Number RBS305PDS16 the cooling blower assembly has been slowly getting louder and louder, I took it out and have discovered that the grey rubber bushing that connects the squirrel cage fan to the shaft of the motor has spun inside the side panel of the squirrel cage fan causing it to be sloppy, I want to replace the bushing but I only see that you offer the whole kit which is kind of overkill for just a little rubber bushing that is worn, everything else works fine. Do you sell just the grey rubber bushing ? or can you guide me as to who does. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Respectfully Rod D
1 Answer Hello Rod. Sorry, we do not have that information as the manufacturer does not offer it separately. Read More...
