Hello Mike. Make sure the condenser coils are clean and the condenser fan motor is running properly in the unit. If not, it will cause this issue. If they are then you need an HVAC tech to come out and repair the unit. Thanks.

Fridge and freezer had been working perfect. Came home to find unit acting like it had no power. No lights, no cooling, etc. Checked the plug and found 120 volts as should be. What could make the unit completely shut down. I tried turning the unit off, waiting a day and turning it back on but still nothing. The only thing I could think is the main control board. I think it is listed as the "Main Display Board" but I am far from an expert on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ice had started forming in the freezer. I replaced the drip pan. It lasted a couple of months then started again. There was a leak from the pan that I bought from you as the pipe had a grommet that was not sealed by the pressure fitting. I disconnected the thermister per the instructions. Everything worked well for 1 day and now the frefridgerator temp increased to 80 degrees and the freezer to 27. What happened. Do I need to reconnect the thermister?

Russell, With the temperature in the freezer at 27 and the refrigerator at 80 you will need to check to make sure that the evaporator fan motor is running and check for a defrost failure. Check the evaporator coils being impacted with ice. If there is heavy frost build up then you will want to check the defrost heater and defrost thermostat for continuity. If there is continuity then the defrost control is faulty and if there is not continuity then replace the part that does not have continuity.

Hello Joe. Check and see if the water to the icemaker is leaking down the back wall of the freezer and is causing the problems your having. If so, you will need to replace the water valve WP67001435 on the unit, and possibly will need to clean out the drain. Hope this helps.
