1 Answer Hello Bill. Test the element and see if it is bad. If so, you will need to order WPY0063532 to replace the element. If the element is good, then the board WP31771301 is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Tia June 02, 2011 for Model Number ART6121CC Our oven doesn't seem to be heating well. I've removed both elements and have checked them with ohm meter. Do you know if the elements should be around 20 ohms? They're both consistent, reading that resistance plus or minus a few ohms. If you'd consider that normal, do you have any other idea why it wouldn't be heating so well? :-) TIA.
1 Answer Hello Tia. It sounds like the elements are good, you will need to replace the electronic control WP31771301. Make sure there is 240 volts coming to the range. Hope this helps. Read More...
